Saturday, April 9  1-1:50 PM Room 5028

Alice LoCicero is a board certified clinical psychologist and researcher. Her recent studies of kids recruited (or forced) to become members of groups that use tactics often termed “terrorism”  led her to better understand the role of the US government in fostering suspicion,  injustice, hatred, violence, and intimidation towards all those of the Muslim faith, in and out of the United States; she believes the CVE program is potentially the most egregious example.  She is the author of two books and several peer-reviewed papers about this and related matters. the books are Creating Young Martyrs and  Why Kids Turn Into Deadly Terrorists.
